Handbrausen

Appealing design meets a broad target audience.

This project involves a personalised approach to implementing specific customer requirements.

These involved developing a design that was both innovative and attractive, whilst also being efficient to produce from a technical standpoint. The large production run of the hand showers was the primary factor shaping the design process. We had to be particularly flexible with regard to materials so that changes could be made quickly and
without any issues.

Sketches and drawings form the basis for adding a new perspective and new features to an existing product.

Model: "Seeigel" ("sea urchin")

Prototypes

Design variations developed as renderings and presented in 3D printing

Model: "Rochen" ("ray fish")
Modell: "Sukkulente" ("succulent")

Kids' Shower head

Particular attention was paid to the ‘Bambino’ children's shower which Lippert Studios developed for the Würth Group. ‘Bambino’ is designed for the use of both children and their parents. It is therefore fitted with a non-slip handle, a temperature indicator and two adjustable spray settings.

Final implementation

Following discussions on manufacturing, materials and aesthetics, the prototypes were refined and finalised so that they would not only fulfil their intended function but also be intuitive to use.
