EnerKíte’s trade fair appearance at WindEnergy Hamburg
Lippert Studios has designed a new base station for Enerkíte’s EK100 airborne wind turbine. Following the completion of this version, we designed a bespoke stand for Enerkíte at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 to showcase their groundbreaking technology. With clean lines and a well-thought-out interactive concept, the stand places the base station centre stage, making it a real eye-catcher at the trade fair.
Interaction concept
During the conceptual phase, we developed a clear framework for what needed to be communicated and how we intended to achieve this. The aim was to reflect the company’s innovative ethos whilst creating a functional and appealing space with various points of interaction and uses for each room.
Visualizations of the stand
Once we had defined our communication objectives, we were able to use these to identify the key elements we wanted to use to convey our messages. This then helps us to organise the specific elements that need to be prepared. We decided to mount the kite above the stand to give visitors a connection to the product, use video footage to show the product in action, and have a central stand to showcase the new design of the base station.
Stand Design iterations
We developed several designs that achieve the communication objectives using different layouts and designs. The aim was to determine which medium best conveys the style of the company and the product. Some versions featured printed panels mounted with an offset, whilst others included storage space and a monitor. Ultimately, we opted for a short-throw projector to display the video on the back wall.

At the trade fair - One of the most visited stands
Enerkite Communication Strategy
However, an attractive exhibition stand is only successful if it results in new customers or partners. With this in mind, we have also designed a range of communication materials for EnerKíte. In addition to items such as flyers and brochures, these include digital assets such as a website pop-up and an email footer.
Visual power for more reach
A successful trade fair presentation needs strong visual content. Dynamic content also plays a decisive role.
In our short video, we’ve captured the highlights – emotional, concise and perfect for social media. This ensures our message remains vivid and visible for the long term.
Model construction of the EK100
The centrepiece of the exhibition stand is a 1:20 scale model of the new ground station. This miniature version makes it easy to explain and provides a clear visual representation.
