SorTech AG, which has grown from a start-up to a market leader in ecological air conditioning systems, has developed a process that uses heat instead of electricity for cost-effective and environmentally friendly cooling. Our task was to develop marketable products. Our product concept was a compact system that would be ideal for both single-family homes and businesses. Today, SorTech AG is a leading manufacturer of absorption chillers, reliable and future-oriented.

Design Process

Goal
We have turned the laboratory set-ups into market-ready products. This included a compact frame design, easy-to-install housing construction and an intuitive operating concept

Sketches and Ideas
The shape is defined more precisely on the basis of sketches and initial ergonomic or functional tests are carried out

Design for manufacturing
The shapes are transferred to 3D modeling software. Further design, functional and production issues are resolved using the CAD solid models.
4/
Visualization
Photorealistic renderings of the geometries with real materials are used to create the most realistic impression possible.
