Designed for Hubelino, a German manufacturer specializing in studded building blocks for play and learning, the marble run takes construction and the excitement of the marble run as a ‚learning through play‘ approach for children.
The blocks lock securely onto one another, keeping everything stable so nothing slips or tips over. The combination possibilities are endless thanks to the modular design, from simple runs to elaborate intertwining tracks that challenge creativity and engineering skills. PROTOTYPING
After creating the core components of the marble run, Lippert Studios expanded the system with a variety of add-ons, each developed through a structured process. Every component begins with a conceptual phase, where its impact on gameplay is evaluated to ensure it brings meaningful value to the game. Next, the mechanical functionality is tested to confirm that it connects securely, integrates seamlessly with existing pieces, and maintains stability during play. Finally, the manufacturability is assessed, ensuring that the component can be produced at scale efficiently and cost-effectively without compromising quality.
