Die SorTech AG, die sich vom Startup zum Marktführer für ökologische Klimaanlagen entwickelt hat, konstruierte ein Verfahren, bei dem Wärme anstelle von Strom für eine kostengünstige und umweltfreundliche Kälteerzeugung genutzt werden kann. Unsere Aufgabe stellte es dar, daraus marktfähige Produkte zu entwickeln. Mit dem ACS 05 Produktdesign entstand ein durchdachtes Konzept für eine kompakte Anlage, die sich sowohl für Einfamilienhäuser wie auch für Gewerbe sehr gut eignet. Die SorTech AG ist mittlerweile führender Hersteller von Absorptionskälteanlagen und damit zuverlässig und zukunftsorientiert.

Design Process

Goal
We have turned the laboratory set-ups into market-ready products. This included a compact frame design, easy-to-install housing construction and an intuitive operating concept

Sketches and Ideas
The shape is defined more precisely on the basis of sketches and initial ergonomic or functional tests are carried out

Design for manufacturing
The shapes are transferred to 3D modeling software. Further design, functional and production issues are resolved using the CAD solid models.
4/
Visualization
Photorealistic renderings of the geometries with real materials are used to create the most realistic impression possible.
