Shower Fittings

Appealing design meets a broad target audience.

This project involves an individual approach to the implementation of specific customer requirements.

These consisted of developing a design that was both innovative and attractive on the one hand, and efficient to implement in terms of production technology on the other. The high production volume of the hand showers was the primary factor that determined the design process. We had to be flexible, especially when it came to materials, to allow for quick and flawless changes to be made.

Sketches and drawings form the basis for adding new perspectives and new functions to an already established product.

Model: "Seeigel" ("sea urchin")

Prototypes

Design variations developed as renderings and presented in 3D printing

Model: "Rochen" ("ray fish")
Modell: "Sukkulente" ("succulent")

Kids' Shower head

Special attention was paid to the "Bambino" children's shower head, which Lippert Studios developed for the Würth Group. "Bambino" is suitable for use by both children and parents. It is equipped with a non-slip handle, a temperature indicator, and two spray modes.

Final implementation

After discussions on the topics of manufacturing, materials and aesthetics, the prototype models were refined and finalized so that they would fulfill their function and could be used instinctively.
